Blog #4

Yes, it has come to this.  I have had blogs in the past but they are either really out of date or I don't remember my login information to access them.  So, here goes blog #4.  This is the blog where you get the stories, my other blog http://vintagelover09.blogspot.com/ is where you can see the pictures.

Danny and I have been in Germany for almost five months.  We are almost fully settled into our apartment.  Our living room furniture came in last week and our dining room table and chairs come next Thursday.  The last item we are waiting for after that is the sleeper couch which is estimated to arrive at the end of January.

On December 2nd,I began my job as an Animal Health Technician at the Veterinary Treatment Facility on Post .  Things have been flying ever since.  Our friends Levi and Pristine left yesterday after staying with us since Sunday.  We had fun while they were here.  We went to Nurnberg  both days they were here.  First day to the Christmas Festival, second day to a Nazi documentation museum.  We also saw the grounds on which Hilter had his rallies.  It looked creepy because it was dark once we were able to look at them.

This Christmas, Danny and I are going to a German family's house for dinner.  We recently attended a soccer game with them because the daughter in the family had won 5 tickets and we were invited to tag along with her, her dad and her brother.

After going to Nurnberg this week, Danny and I have realized how easy traveling in Germany really is.  Our plan is to start taking trips by using the Rick Steves Germany book.  Levi and Pristine had one and it seemed to be a good resource for finding historical places, restaurants, and hotels.

More is to come ...  Oh and have a Merry Christmas.
